We notice that golfers are increasingly crossing borders and moving on different European courses and continents. They can play on many courses and admire the fairways that are close to the greens in terms of beauty (although with the distinction of a higher cutting height). In order to obtain such beautiful results, the greenkeeper must rethink the fertilisation of his fairways and give up the old fertilisation, i.e. use unsuitable agricultural fertilisers on the fairways where the growth resources are unbalanced and with an inappropriate grain size distribution. The site manager is often constrained by the available budget in his choice of fertiliser for the fairways. However, by using a fertiliser with a studied particle size distribution that allows SMALL nitrogen and fertiliser doses per hectare by using the slow-release nitrogen technique that avoids very unpleasant shock effects and entails a long remanence of 8 to 12 weeks, the greenkeeper can obtain an equally advantageous fertilisation but with very different results. Fert in Time has developed a fairway fertilizer that is well adapted and balances the growth resources, with a long remanence and a slow-release effect and with a grain size of 1-3 mm which makes it possible to use a lower amount of fertilizer and nitrogen with the traditional fertilizer spreader and thus avoid shocks. This also makes it more environmentally friendly
